QAD have been commissioned to carry out feasibilities for a number of medical centres in Yorkshire to help look at ways of optimising the most efficient use of some of the primary care estate.
Assessment of the existing facilities and accommodation were assessed in relation to room standards, user requirements, facilities provided, energy efficiency and the potential for improvement and future expansion.
Sketch proposals include rationalisation of floor plans and 3D internal and external improvements.
e local community given its proximity to the new Primary Care Centre.
Throughout the design process the user group and Primary Care Trust have been consulted to ensure the correct level of accommodation is provided.
The scheme is currently submitted for planning and expected to receive determination in November 2011.
