A completed project in July 2011.Healthcare Feasibility Study The proposed scheme for NHS Leeds and Community Ventures is to provide a 210sqm single storey extension to the existing health centre providing additional patient and staff accommodation. Internal alterations and rationalisation of rooms are also to be undertaken to improve the efficiency of the building as a whole.

The design proposal considers the relationship between the existing building and the proposed extension with regard to room layouts, zoning and circulation, scale and mass, pedestrian and vehicle flows and security. The extension has been designed to be distinct from the existing building through the use of white rendered facades giving the health centre greater presence on Meanwood Road.

The scheme is currently submitted for planning and expected to receive determination in November 2011.
