On behalf of Bellway Homes, QAD submitted a reserved matters application in June 2011 for the proposed development of land at Waterloo Engineering Works. The 2.7ha site is located in Pudsey, Leeds, West Yorkshire, and lies approximately 7.5 miles west of Leeds city centre.
Following the receipt of the reserved matters approval for 99No. new dwellings and re-assessment of local needs and market factors a revised scheme has been prepared for submission of the renewal for the reserved matters (appearance, landscaping, layout and scale) and discharge of the associated planning conditions.
The proposed new full application scheme looks to provide a total of 83No. new residential units. Unlike the previous reserved matters proposals the stone office buildings are to be demolished in order to accommodate site access in a layout led location.
