Paul heads up the healthcare sector at QAD, who have extensive experience of providing bespoke design solutions in primary care for new build, extensions, and refurbishment projects. The portfolio includes work with health third party developers as well as working directly with GPs. There is also experience in mental health accommodation provision.
As a founding Director QAD Architects, Paul has been instrumental in developing the company’s recognition in various sectors by appealing to prospective clients and end users through a uniquely personable approach.
He has extensive commercial experience, having qualified in 1993, and has been working within primary care since 2004. This has lead to the completion of over 20 projects with more either on the drawing board or on site at the present time.
Paul has recently broadened his involvement with the health sector by undertaking a 3 year term as a governor with Sheffield Teaching Hospitals FT, seeking to assist them specifically on sustainability and the healthcare environment.
Favourite Place: The I.M. Pei pyramid entrance to the Louvre museum in Paris. I just love the way in which the museum had the bravery to run with a bold modernist statement within the context of such an historical environment. The spaces around the pyramid are magical, and the volumes with are exquisite.
