Our philosophy at QAD is that of creating beautiful places to live work and play. It is important to us that in doing this we should always aim to have a positive influence upon the environments and communities in which we work, therefore planning our developments always starts with respecting our ‘natural’ neighbours.
At the heart of our design is the homeowner or tenant, and therefore the process to achieve our objective is of paramount importance. This includes our participation in public consultation as part of our briefing process and this is enacted by courteous and knowledgeable staff. Then throughout the process we actively seek feedback and respond to that in an effective, positive, and sensitive way.
To provide stylish and quality homes we believe that the resultant external spaces are as important as our homes, we are therefore consciously thinking of these places when we are designing and delivering new homes for our changing environment.
This approach has seen QAD Architects successful on several residential frameworks such as Chapter Homes in Durham, Bridge Homes in Wakefield, Weave Homes in Calderdale and Newcastle Framework.
